Last night in the 2016 MLB All-Star Game the American League won home-field advantage in the 2016 World Series. One of the men that helped make this happen was Eric Hosmer of the Kansas City Royals. Hosmer hit a home run off San Francisco Giants pitcher Johnny Cueto which made Hosmer the first Royals player to homer in the All-Star game since Bo Jackson did in 1989. Hosmer also added an RBI single later in the game which solidified his MVP status.

By winning MVP, Hosmer also won a truck and said he’s giving that truck to his dad.

“So he can stop stealing all my cars,” Hosmer said.
