The San Francisco Giants have been rumored to be upgrading their outfield, and they’ve finally pulled the trigger on a big-time player. Yes, they’ve traded for the Pittsburgh Pirates face of their franchise, Andrew McCutchen!
Manager Bruce Bochy has confirmed that McCutchen will be responsible for right field and that huge right-center gap at AT&T Park. Hunter Pence will be moving over to left, and it’s still a question mark for centerfield. Word on the street is the Giants are out on any big name free agents still left in the free agent market.
Now…I’m a Giant!💪🏾Ive always enjoyed watching the success of the @SFGiants and I look foward to being apart of more this season. Can’t wait to meet my new teammates and fans. This is just the beginning…

“Andrew is a remarkable talent and will be a difference maker in our lineup,” said Giants Senior Vice President and General Manager Bobby Evans. “We’re honored to have him and look forward to seeing him in a Giants uniform.”
Running 26 MPH should help McCutchen cover that huge right-center gap at AT&T Park!
