Red Sox Tickets For Series Vs O’s The Least Expensive Series Of Season At Fenway

The Boston Red Sox welcome the AL East leading Baltimore Orioles Monday night to begin a three game series at Fenway Park.  Baltimore is in complete command in the AL East, coming into this game with a 9.5 game lead over the second place Yankees.  However, the Orioles have had some struggles on the road as of late but hope to change that against a last place Boston team.  The Orioles have won seven of the 13 meetings with the Red Sox as Baltimore’s Nelson Cruz looks to continue his hot hitting especially with Boston hitting four home runs with 12 RBI’s in 13 games with Boston this year. On the secondary market, the average price for Boston Red Sox tickets is $34, which is the cheapest series remaining in Boston this season.

The series opener begins tonight between the Orioles and Red Sox and features a pitching matchup between Orioles right-hander Miguel Gonzalez (8-7) who has pitched very well in his past few starts pitching a complete game shutout against the Reds in his last start. Gonzalez will oppose Red Sox right-hander Joe Kelly (3-3), who is coming off a win over the Yankees.  Red Sox tickets for the series opener have an average price of $35 on the secondary market with a get-in price of just $5.

9/9 – Avg. Price: $60.38 | Get in Price: $5 | (BAL) Chris Tillman vs (BOS) Anthony Ranaudo

In the second game of this series Wednesday night, Red Sox vs Orioles tickets will be the most expensive of the series, currently at an average price of $60.38 on the secondary market, up 71.4% compared to the series opener with a get in price of $5.  It’s also Pedro Martinez bobblehead night at Fenway Park as all fans in attendance will receive a Martinez bobble head.  Baltimore will send Chris Tillman (11-5) to the mound and he will pitch against Red Sox’s Anthony Ranaudo (3-1).

9/10 – Avg. Price: $30 | Get in Price: $5 | (BAL) Wei-Yen Chen vs (BOS) Brandon Workman

In the series finale, Red Sox tickets will be the cheapest of the series at a current average price of $30 in the secondary market with a get in price of just $5.  The pitching matchup will be Baltimore Wei-Yen Chen (14-4) who is pitching very well over the past month looking to record win number 15.  Chen will oppose Boston right-hander Brandon Workman (1-8) looking for his first win since June 10.
