I’m only in high school, but have been told I have a knack for writing. I have written for my school’s paper, each of the last two years. I’m a huge MLB fan and would love to write.

  • I would like to be a writer for hotstovemlb.com, specifically for the New York Mets. As a previous employer for the Mets as a Corporate Sales Intern, I got a feel for the organization i love rooting for. While I was in Ithaca College (I am a recent college graduate), I worked with the sports radio program where I wrote and then presented opinion pieces on the MLB with facts to back it up, whether it was about the new commissioner, Pete Rose, steroids, Yankees, or Mets. I also wrote for a basketball blog where I wrote opinion pieces, news updates, and more on the NBA. I also interviewed a former basketball player in John Starks. it would be great to expand my experience in writing, specifically in sport with this opportunity.
